Texas Republican congressional candidate Brandon Herrera made a derogatory remark about Mya Lesnar, daughter of former WWE champion Brock Lesnar, during a livestream on October 28, 2026, a clip of which was shared by political watchdog group PatriotTakes on X and circulated online.
In the clip, Herrera compared Mya Lesnar’s appearance to a creature from the science-fiction film Prometheus and used an expletive in doing so. The comment targeted her looks rather than her achievements and prompted criticism as the video spread on social platforms.
The incident adds to previous controversies tied to Herrera’s public remarks. He has faced criticism for derogatory comments about women, including sexually degrading insults, and drew attention in 2024 after posting footage of himself goose-stepping while holding a Nazi-era submachine gun; Herrera later denied holding hateful views.
