Wade Keller podcast covers Taz’s announce-desk reaction, Crown Jewel logistics, Shawn Michaels reports and NXT succession talk

PWTorch editor Wade Keller released a VIP episode of the Wade Keller Hotline on Oct. 29 that ran roughly 20 minutes and touched on multiple WWE storylines and backstage reports.

Keller addressed a ringside incident from last night’s Darby Allin vs. Josh Alexander match, reporting that commentator and former wrestler Taz was upset after a bump to the announce desk. Keller noted the reaction and discussed whether the reaction appeared legitimate.

The episode also covered a New York Post report about Netflix that Keller said could be indicative of Netflix’s longer-term interest in WWE Raw; Keller framed the Post story as suggestive rather than definitive.

On the Saudi Arabia front, Keller reviewed the latest reporting and available information about Crown Jewel, outlining what is known, what has been reported, and what appears logistically most likely at this time.

Keller addressed reports questioning whether Shawn Michaels will replace Bruce Prichard in an undisclosed role, presenting the development as a reported item rather than a confirmed change. He also discussed reported NXT leadership succession plans.

The podcast included a brief preview of the upcoming WWE SmackDown and WWE Collision episodes and closed with other news and notes Keller regularly covers on the show.

This edition was presented as a VIP audio podcast; Keller’s episode listing and VIP link were noted in the PWTorch summary.
