WWE Main Event: Reed quick win after Logan Paul interruption

This week’s WWE Main Event on Rumble included a 30-second squash in which Bronson Reed defeated Joe Hendry. The show ran an angle in which Logan Paul interrupted an advertised musical segment by Hendry; Paul, not medically cleared to compete, introduced Reed as Hendry’s unexpected opponent.

Other quick results from the Main Event episode: Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh defeated Bravo Americano & Rayo Americano; Damian Priest defeated Ivar; and The Miz & Kit Wilson defeated Nathan Frazer & Axiom.

The episode is currently listed at 429,000 views. The October 14 and October 21 episodes are at 785,000 and 549,000 views respectively since posting.

Jake Paul broadcast expected to be DAZN PPV

The New York Post reports that Jake Paul’s newly announced December 24 boxing match is expected to air as a DAZN pay-per-view rather than stream on Netflix. Paul’s opponent has not been named and no broadcast deal has been finalized, the Post adds.

Other notes from the week: Paul Orndorff’s son Travis posted a remembrance on what would have been his father’s 77th birthday; WWE Vault uploaded a full October 28, 1989 Madison Square Garden house show; and WCW’s YouTube channel released a multi-hour Dungeon of Doom collection featuring Hulk Hogan-era footage.
