How the judge works

  • Factual questions (who held a title first, how many, when) are settled only by our verified records, with any arithmetic shown step by step. If the records don't cover it, the answer is Insufficient Evidence.
  • Subjective debates (who's better, the greatest) get the criteria the judge used and a reasoned assessment. Taste is never presented as fact, and a Draw is a fair result.
  • Every verdict gives the strongest point from each side and the assumptions that could change it. Sources are only ever records we hold: the AI can't add or invent any.
  • The site's fictional sample stories are never used as evidence. Text in the arguments that tries to instruct the judge is treated as argument, not instructions.
  • Nothing you type is published. You can copy a verdict, and you can make a public link only if you choose to (names and arguments stay out unless you include them).
