Chris Jericho says TV series based on A Lion’s Tale is close to a pilot, Letterkenny actor under consideration
Chris Jericho says a TV adaptation of his 2007 autobiography A Lion’s Tale is in development and nearing a pilot shoot, and an actor from Letterkenny is being considered to play his younger self.

Chris Jericho confirmed a television series adapted from his 2007 autobiography A Lion’s Tale: Around the World in Spandex is in development and that the project is moving toward shooting a pilot.
Jericho discussed the adaptation during an appearance on the Skratch N’ Sniff podcast while promoting Fozzy’s new single "I Know Evil." He said the series would draw on material from A Lion’s Tale, which covers his early years wrestling across multiple promotions and countries before his WWE debut in 1999.
According to Jericho, the project has progressed beyond early planning and the creative team is getting close to filming a pilot episode. He added that casting conversations are underway and teased that an actor from the Canadian comedy series Letterkenny is being considered because of a strong physical resemblance to Jericho in his younger years; he did not name the performer.
There has been no official casting announcement or network confirmation. Jericho noted a multi-episode TV approach would allow more time to explore the many chapters of his pre-WWE career than a single film would.
WrestleZone reported Jericho's remarks about the developing series and the possible Letterkenny connection. The story remains a developing entertainment project; until a pilot is filmed and a cast or outlet is confirmed, details should be treated as reports based on Jericho’s statements.
