All Elite Wrestling confirmed a match for Saturday's AEW Collision: Fright Night broadcast — Tommaso Ciampa will face Matt Sydal. AEW posted the announcement on X and said the episode airs at 8/7c on TNT and HBO Max.
The post notes Ciampa had demanded a rematch for Andrade El Ídolo's National Championship. Rather than granting that rematch, AEW's message says Ilja Dragunov stepped forward and issued a challenge to Ciampa.
AEW framed the Ciampa vs. Sydal bout as part of the Fright Night-themed episode and tied the matchup to the ongoing National Title storyline and Dragunov's interruption. The company posted the match notice on X with the related storyline details.
