WWE Reportedly Abandoned Original Six-Man Plan for The Vision at Crown Jewel
Wrestling Observer reporting says WWE dropped plans for a trios match involving The Vision at Crown Jewel 2026 and instead shifted to a tag-team title match featuring some of the same wrestlers.

WWE reportedly scrapped an original six-man tag idea for The Vision ahead of Crown Jewel 2026, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter as reported by WrestleZone. Company officials allegedly chose to pivot away from a trios contest and instead build a standard tag-team title match on the Riyadh card.
Per the report, the initial plan would have seen Je'Von Evans, Penta and Oba Femi team to face Bron Breakker, Austin Theory and Bronson Reed. Sources told the Wrestling Observer that WWE decided the six-man concept did not make sense without first establishing a tag-team title match.
As it now stands, Breakker and Theory are scheduled to defend the WWE World Tag Team Championship against Je'Von Evans and Penta at Crown Jewel. Other matches currently listed for the event include Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match.
Crown Jewel is booked for November 7, 2026, at The Venue in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show was originally planned for Riyadh Season Stadium in KAFD but was later moved because of security concerns, the report notes.
This development was reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and summarized by WrestleZone; it should be treated as a sourced report rather than a company confirmation. WWE has not been quoted directly in the published accounts of the booking change.
