WrestleTalk outlines possible surprises for NXT Halloween Havoc

WrestleTalk reports that NXT's Halloween Havoc is scheduled for tomorrow night and that six matches are advertised for the show. The site outlined several surprises that could alter the card or set up storylines heading into the end of the year.

WrestleTalk notes that newly signed Australian tag team the Dropouts — The Tuckman and Scott Green — have appeared in social media content with NXT Champion Grayson Waller. The report says the pair, who were first reported to have signed in July and later officially announced, could be called on to help Waller in his title defence against Tony D'Angelo.

The site also raises the possibility of a twist in the NXT Women’s Championship match. After Kendal Grey won the title, there was earlier speculation about tension with Wren Sinclair. WrestleTalk points out that Sinclair is set to challenge Grey for the title for the first time and that Grey was recently cleared to compete following her loss to Kelani Jordan at Heatwave; the report says Grey has also been involved in on-screen therapy segments that could be used to set up a betrayal.

WrestleTalk additionally links potential main-roster appearances to the developing John Cena Classic storyline. The report says Kelani Jordan is expected by some to leave Halloween Havoc as NXT Women’s Champion and notes IYO SKY was teased as a potential opponent on this week’s NXT. WrestleTalk adds that John Cena is scheduled to return to Raw next week and is expected to appear on next week’s NXT, and suggests other main-roster names could appear around Halloween Havoc to build the tournament angle.

All possibilities above are reported by WrestleTalk and remain unconfirmed by WWE.
