Nick Khan singles out four 'upcoming' WWE stars at TKO town hall
WWE President Nick Khan named Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Oba Femi as "upcoming" talents during a recent TKO town hall, a sign all four may receive bigger roles on Raw.
According to PWInsider, WWE President Nick Khan identified four young performers as "upcoming WWE stars" during a recent TKO town hall held via Zoom that included staff from WWE, UFC, Zuffa Boxing and On Location. Khan's shout-out names Bron Breakker, Je'Von Evans, Sol Ruca and Oba Femi.
WrestleTalk noted that all four are former NXT talents currently appearing on Raw; being singled out by the company president suggests they may receive more prominent roles on WWE television and pay-per-views.
- Bron Breakker — A two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and one-half of the World Tag Team Champions with Austin Theory. Breakker and Theory are scheduled to defend the tag titles at Crown Jewel on November 7 against Penta and Je'Von Evans; that defence will be Breakker's first since they reclaimed the straps in July, per the report.
- Je'Von Evans — Called up to the main roster in January and, as PWInsider notes, has yet to capture a WWE championship. Evans is teaming with Penta at Crown Jewel for a shot at the World Tag Team Championship.
- Sol Ruca — Made her Raw debut in April and went on to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship by defeating Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy the following month, according to the report.
- Oba Femi — Described in the report as a former two-time NXT Champion who made his main roster debut in the men's Royal Rumble and was eliminated by Brock Lesnar before entering a subsequent program with the veteran.
PWInsider is the source of Khan's selections; WrestleTalk relayed the item. Khan has previously described a close working relationship with Triple H and said he generally only steps into creative discussions if asked or if he feels strongly about a business issue.
