Finn Bálor’s Demon Returns on SmackDown, Targets Gunther During Danhausen Segment
On the October 30 edition of WWE SmackDown, Finn Bálor’s Demon persona reappeared during Danhausen’s Halloween experiment and launched a brutal assault on Gunther, culminating in a ladder spot and a Coup de Grâce.

Finn Bálor’s Demon persona made a surprise return on the October 30 edition of WWE SmackDown, interrupting Danhausen’s Halloween segment and delivering a decisive assault on Gunther.
The segment began when Gunther stormed Danhausen’s setup, powerbombing the host through a table and dragging him toward the ring. Danhausen’s prop cloning machine then produced several miniature Danhausens, which Gunther tried to clear — tossing pumpkins and powerbombing one through a table — before locking Danhausen in a sleeper hold.
The arena went dark and the lights turned red as the Demon appeared. Gunther struck first but Bálor avoided a clothesline, answering with strikes and multiple Sling Blades. Gunther landed a chop and used his championship belt, but Bálor countered with another Sling Blade and sent Gunther through a table with a running dropkick.
The action spilled outside, where Bálor grabbed a ladder and used it to drive Gunther onto the announce table. Climbing to the top, Bálor hit a Coup de Grâce that sent Gunther crashing through the table. The segment ended with the Demon posing alongside an injured Danhausen, marking the on-screen return of Bálor’s darker character.
Bálor’s Demon was last seen at WrestleMania 42 in a Street Fight with Dominik Mysterio. WrestleZone reported the SmackDown development.
