'The Demon' Finn Bálor Returns on SmackDown, Targets Gunther

Finn Bálor reappeared on WWE television in his "Demon" persona during this week's SmackDown, where he targeted Intercontinental Champion Gunther.

The arrival occurred during a Danhausen-hosted "Very Nice, Very Evil" segment. Danhausen had teased he would unveil his "most evil experiment," and WWE promoted the segment on X in advance. Commentary voice Corey Graves suggested the surprise might be a revived Gingerbread Man gimmick, which did not transpire.

Danhausen presented the promised reveal, and the segment concluded with Balor's Demon emerging and attacking Gunther, according to Fightful.
