SmackDown preview: three title matches and a Danhausen Halloween show in Charleston
WWE SmackDown airs from the Charleston Coliseum on Oct. 30 with three championship matches — Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams for the WWE title, Chelsea Green vs. Nikki Bella for the Women’s title and Rey Fenix vs. Ricky Saints for the AAA Cruiserweight title — and a Danhausen Halloween-themed edition.
WWE returns to television with a Halloween-themed SmackDown from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, on Oct. 30. The program will be broadcast live on USA Network in the U.S. and on Netflix for international viewers; live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern.
The card features three championship matches, including a WWE Championship defense and an inter-promotional AAA title bout. The advertised matches are listed below.
- WWE Championship: Sami Zayn vs. Trick Williams
- WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green vs. Nikki Bella — Green has called Bella her idol
- AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) vs. Ricky Saints — their previous encounter ended in a disqualification after Saints shoved the referee
Chelsea Green enters the show having recently retained the Women’s title against Roxanne Perez and is scheduled to face Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel if she gets past Nikki Bella on SmackDown. The episode will also include a Halloween-themed appearance by Danhausen as part of the advertised festivities.
