AEW Dynamite viewership dips to 620,000 amid World Series deciding game

AEW Dynamite's Fright Night broadcast on TBS averaged 620,000 viewers Wednesday, marking a 6.2 percent drop from the prior week, per F4WOnline. The program registered a 0.14 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, a 6.7 percent decline week-over-week and the show's second-lowest Wednesday demo number since September 23.

Wednesday's total audience is the smallest for a Wednesday airing since September 9. Dynamite finished third on cable for the night and placed second in its time slot behind NBA coverage, according to F4WOnline's reporting.

The episode went head-to-head with the deciding game of the World Series on Fox, which averaged more than 14 million viewers. Despite the week-to-week drop, AEW's numbers are stronger when compared to the same week in 2025: overall viewership rose 35.1 percent year-over-year and the 18-49 rating improved by 75 percent.
