Former WWE performer Xelina addressed the vandalism of a 9/11 memorial panel that includes the name of her late father, Michael Trinidad, who died in the September 11 attacks. She said she was both angry and heartbroken and urged increased security at the site.

The incident in New York City involved gun regulation activist Johnathan Tijerina, who spray-painted red graffiti across the bronze panels that display victims’ names. The paint reportedly read "just stop killing kids." Tijerina filmed the act and shared the footage online before police arrested him at the scene.

Officials said Tijerina faces charges of criminal mischief and making graffiti. The estimated cost to repair the panels was about $2,500. Memorial staff and security removed the paint and sources reported the site was restored without permanent damage.

Xelina — who was 10 years old when her father, Michael Trinidad, died in the September 11 attacks — posted on X (formerly Twitter) that no words can fully express how angry and heartbroken she is, called the act "absolutely disgusting," and said extra security at the memorial is necessary.

The vandalism drew immediate law enforcement response and swift cleanup by memorial personnel. The development was first reported by WrestleZone.
