The Miz Breaks Extended WWE Losing Run with Tag Win on Main Event
The Miz picked up his first WWE victory in over a year on Main Event, teaming with Kit Wilson to defeat Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer) and end a lengthy losing stretch.

The Miz ended a lengthy run without a WWE victory on the latest episode of Main Event, teaming with Kit Wilson to defeat Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer).
The finish came when Wilson secured a crucifix pin on Axiom for the deciding fall; The Miz did not record the final pinfall himself. WrestleZone reports this was Miz’s first WWE victory since Aug. 22, 2025, when he and Carmelo Hayes defeated the Motor City Machine Guns on SmackDown.
WrestleZone also noted Miz and Hayes had beaten Fraxiom the week prior, with Miz using his Skull-Crushing Finale on Frazer. The report adds Miz’s recent partnership with Wilson produced mixed results, including losses to Danhausen and Minihausen at Backlash and a September defeat to Shinsuke Nakamura and Kyoki.
WrestleZone further reports Miz suffered 32 defeats during 2026 and had recent singles losses to Axiom and Nakamura, with his most recent loss before Wednesday coming on Main Event on Oct. 8. His last singles victory remains the Feb. 5, 2024 win over JD McDonagh on RAW.
“People like winners. People like first place. They don’t like second place. They don’t like third place. They want the guy, their guy. They want their guy to win,” Miz told Chris Van Vliet in January 2026, per WrestleZone.
While the tag-team result ends Miz’s long winless stretch in WWE overall, his singles drought continues. The Miz and Kit Wilson will likely try to use this victory to build momentum on future WWE programming.
