Shayna Baszler Added to Knockouts Title Match at TNA Destination X
On the October 29 episode of iMPACT, TNA announced Shayna Baszler will challenge Indi Hartwell for the Knockouts World Championship at Destination X on November 15 in Edmonton.
TNA has added a Knockouts World Championship match to the Destination X lineup: Shayna Baszler will challenge reigning champion Indi Hartwell one-on-one at the November 15 event in Edmonton.
The contest was confirmed on the October 29 episode of iMPACT. After a video package on Hartwell, Baszler appeared with tag partner Zoey Serrano. Serrano confronted a security guard while Baszler took a commentator's headset and said TNA authority figure Daria Rae hired her to face Hartwell at Destination X, after which the match was made official.
Hartwell captured the Knockouts World Championship at Bound For Glory by defeating Xia Brookside. At the same event, Baszler and Serrano won the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships from Allie and Kiera Hogan. This will be their first singles meeting under the TNA banner.
Destination X takes place November 15 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre and will stream live on TNA+. The updated card also lists Leon Slater defending the TNA World Championship against Trey Miguel, men's and women's Ultimate X matches and the World X-Cup tournament.
With Baszler now targeting Hartwell's title, the Knockouts division adds another high-profile match to an already stacked Destination X card.
