Ilja Dragunov, Hurt Syndicate Among Final Additions for AEW Fright Night Collision
AEW has finalized the Fright Night edition of Collision, taped after Dynamite and set to air this Saturday, with Ilja Dragunov versus The Beast Mortos and a returning Hurt Syndicate featured on the card.
All Elite Wrestling has confirmed the final lineup for this weekend's Fright Night edition of Collision, taped Wednesday after Dynamite and scheduled to air on Saturday. The announced card features Ilja Dragunov in his second AEW match, a return by the Hurt Syndicate, and several first-time singles meetings.
Dragunov will face The Beast Mortos in what will be their first-ever singles encounter. Dragunov made his AEW debut last Wednesday with a victory over Mike Bailey; Bailey is again on the Collision card, booked to face Darius Martin of Top Flight.
Tommaso Ciampa is set for a first-time clash with St. Louis favorite Matt Sydal. Ciampa has been pursuing a rematch with AEW National Champion Andrade El Idolo, but Dragunov confronted Ciampa on Dynamite and is looking for his shot at his old WWE roster mate.
Also on the card, The Conglomeration — Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong and Kyle O'Reilly — will seek payback against The Cut (Austin and Colten Gunn with Juice Robinson). The Conglomeration was turned on and taken out by The Cut last Wednesday, and AEW has booked the trios bout as retribution.
Other matches confirmed for the Fright Night taping:
- Artist of Stardom Champions Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart & Skye Blue) vs. Hazuki, Koguma & Fuwa-chan (previously announced)
- Konosuke Takeshita vs. Adam Priest
- Mike Bailey vs. Darius Martin
- Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) vs. Griff Garrison, Nick Comoroto & Aaron Solo (handicap match)
- Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne & Lena Kross) vs. Nixi XS & Leela Feist — booked ahead of this Wednesday's Blood & Guts
The show was taped Wednesday following Dynamite for air on Saturday, with the full lineup now official.
