Chris Jericho told Skratch N' Sniff in a recent interview that a television series adapted from his first autobiography, A Lion's Tale: Around the World in Spandex, is in development and moving toward the pilot stage.

Jericho said the project has been in the works for some time and that the team has "moved it up the food chain," bringing it nearer to filming a pilot episode. He described the proposed series as focusing on the early years of his wrestling career rather than a single biographical film.

During the interview, Jericho mentioned an unnamed performer from the Canadian comedy series Letterkenny as a potential candidate to play his younger self, noting a strong facial resemblance but declining to name the actor.

A Lion's Tale: Around the World in Spandex was first published on October 25, 2007. Jericho later released two follow-ups: Undisputed: How to Become the World Champion in 1,372 Easy Steps (2011) and The Best in the World: At What I Have No Idea (2014).

The comments came during his Skratch N' Sniff interview; the video is cued to his remarks about the TV adaptation. Beyond Jericho's description that the project is nearing a pilot, he did not provide casting confirmations, network attachments, or filming dates.

This represents a notable move to adapt material from his first memoir into a scripted television format, should the pilot proceed to series.
