Cedric Alexander on the WWE-TNA relationship

Cedric Alexander told Medd in the Morning that the working relationship between WWE and TNA has been positive overall but still has room for improvement. He described the arrangement as beneficial for the wrestling business and argued that collaboration helps the industry progress faster than strict division between companies.

Alexander, a former WWE performer who is currently with TNA, said he remembers being in NXT when the partnership was first announced and feeling excited at the prospect of appearing for TNA. He told the podcast that working across promotions was something on his career wish list, and that when the opportunity came it was made even better by the involvement of Ali and by his debut there.

Reflecting on his recent run, Alexander called the last year-and-a-half to two years a period of ups and downs that gave him a greater appreciation for wrestling and clearer insight into what he needs as a professional. He credited TNA with giving him what he needs at this stage of his career.

Alexander concluded by reiterating his view that the more companies like WWE and TNA can cooperate, the healthier the pro-wrestling business will be, pushing back against what he described as unnecessary tribalism in the industry.

This account is based on Alexander's interview with Medd in the Morning and was first reported by F4WOnline.
