AEW faction reshuffle, Blood & Guts build and Full Gear teases highlight last two weeks, PWTorch reports

PWTorch reports a series of developments in All Elite Wrestling over the last two weeks that are shaping feuds heading into Blood & Guts and Full Gear.

New heel group formed, renamed on social media

Per PWTorch, a Collision segment saw the Dogs end their alliance with the Death Riders, turn on Gabe Kidd and merge with a newly turned Bang Bang Gang. Jay White introduced the merged faction on-screen; he called it "The Last Outfit" on Collision and later used the name "The Cut" on social media, according to PWTorch.

On Dynamite, The Cut defeated the Death Riders when Jay White pinned Danny Garcia with a Blade Runner, per PWTorch.

Death Riders vs. The Cut, Full Gear stakes

PWTorch reports the Death Riders, led on-screen by Jon Moxley and joined by Claudio Castagnoli, have been positioned as the babyface response to The Cut. Following a chaotic brawl on Dynamite, Moxley laid out a challenge for Anarchy in the Arena at Full Gear, per PWTorch.

PWTorch reports that the post-match brawl on Dynamite grew violent: Castagnoli fought through multiple attackers using a trash can but was ultimately struck with David Finlay’s shillelagh and then received a Blade Runner on the exposed concrete from Jay White, leaving Castagnoli stretchered out on television. PWTorch notes this sequence raises questions about his availability for Full Gear.

Other notable angles advancing

• Per PWTorch, the Don Callis Family is set opposite a mixed face team for Blood & Guts that includes Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Davis & Doyle (opponents of The Young Bucks) and Adam Copeland after Steven Borden returned with Darby carrying Sting’s baseball bat to answer a DCF attack.
• PWTorch reports Kazuchika Okada interfered in a segment that put Adam Copeland through the turnbuckle with the International Title placed on it, contributing to Kyle Fletcher scoring a win; the sequence also positioned Copeland for an International Title program and set Ospreay and Fletcher to reignite their AEW World Title rivalry.
• Per PWTorch, Mercedes Moné issued what amounted to an open challenge and was answered by Marina Shafir, who appeared flanked by Jon Moxley, establishing a singles program between Moné and Shafir.

PWTorch framed these developments as AEW juggling builds for both Blood & Guts and Full Gear; the source described the faction naming process as awkward but said the collision brawls have established a clear program heading into the pay-per-view season.
