Shotzi Blackheart says WWE declined a TNA crossover; clarifies comments after podcast
Shotzi Blackheart clarified that WWE passed on a proposed TNA appearance while she was under contract, saying the company considered her NXT role and a possible SmackDown storyline too much to add to her schedule.

Shotzi Blackheart offered additional context after comments she made on the Generation of Wrestling podcast about WWE not allowing her to appear for TNA while she was under WWE contract.
On the podcast, Blackheart said she had wanted to wrestle for TNA and that after recovering from ACL surgery in 2024 she asked WWE about working there. She said WWE declined despite the existing relationship between NXT and TNA.
In a follow-up post on X (Twitter), Blackheart said there was no personal animus behind her original remarks and explained that the decision was largely logistical: at the time she was active in NXT and was also being considered for a potential SmackDown storyline, and WWE felt adding a TNA appearance would have been too much to manage alongside those plans.
Background: F4WOnline reports that Blackheart left WWE in 2025 when her contract was not renewed, spent time on the independent scene and with MLW, and has since signed with TNA Wrestling. F4WOnline also reports she made her TNA debut at a television taping in Dothan, Alabama earlier this month.
Blackheart framed her clarification as an expression of enthusiasm for working with TNA while acknowledging scheduling and creative limits rather than criticism of WWE.
