Report: George Iceman likely to leave TNA as contract nears expiration
PWInsider reports that George Iceman, the on-screen Personal Concierge for the Elegance Brand, is expected to depart TNA when his contract expires in early November; False Finish has reported outside interest but did not name any promotions.
PWInsider reports that George Iceman, who performs as the "Personal Concierge" for the Elegance Brand on TNA programming, is expected to leave the company when his contract expires in early November.
PWInsider said his deal is set to run out in early November. False Finish reported there has been interest in Iceman from outside promotions but did not identify which companies are involved.
The Personal Concierge is part of the Elegance Brand stable alongside Ash By Elegance (formerly Dana Brooke), M By Elegance (Maggie Lee), Heather By Elegance (Heather Reckless) and Mr. Elegance (Andreas John Ziegler). M By Elegance is the inaugural Knockouts TV Champion.
Iceman was absent from a backstage segment on last week's Impact that featured M By Elegance, Heather By Elegance and Mr. Elegance. Before adopting the concierge character, he hosted a segment on TNA's Before the Impact pre-show. He is from Canada and has promoted independent wrestling there.
The report comes amid a busy contract period for TNA. In recent weeks the promotion has added Shotzi Blackheart, Amazing Red and Shayna Baszler, and re-signed Director of Authority Santino Marella. TNA has not confirmed Iceman's future beyond the reported contract expiry.
