DOUKI & Kanemaru and Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori Top A Block at Super Jr. Tag League

DOUKI & Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori left Tuesday's Super Junior Tag League show in Ibaraki tied for the A Block lead with six points each, with the round-robin phase nearing its conclusion.

In the main event, DOUKI & Kanemaru defeated the team of Místico & Masatora Yasuda, who were a late substitution after El Desperado was ruled out. The match featured interference from House of Torture that created a numbers disadvantage for the substitutes; Místico was unable to prevent Yasuda from being struck by Kanemaru's whiskey and then finished with DOUKI's Suplex de la Luna.

Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori improved their A Block record to 3-1 by beating Master Wato & KUUKAI. Robbie X secured the win after using his X Xpress maneuver to pin KUUKAI.

Earlier on the show, Ryusuke Taguchi & Kazuma Sumi defeated KUSHIDA & Nick Wayne in a seventeen-minute bout. The finish came when Taguchi rolled up KUSHIDA for the pin, moving Taguchi & Sumi to four points in the block.

The A Block will wrap up its round-robin matches on Saturday in Kyoto. The scheduled pairings are:

• Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori vs. Nick Wayne & KUSHIDA
• DOUKI & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Master Wato & KUUKAI
